Beauty Tip of the Day: Hot Washcloth Pimples

Hello beauties! Today, I’d thought i’d share a simple, but very effective beauty trick with you all. Have you ever experienced those under the surface hard pimples/cysts that have no head but are red? Have you tried icing them and that doesn’t work? Well, you’re in luck because this beauty trick works like a dream, literally getting red of completely/ reducing the under the surface pimple so incredibly fast. This technique best works when in the shower as the steam really works to open the pores. Simply place a cloth or small towel under warm/hot running water from the tap for a few seconds, then press the hot cloth right on the spot for a couple of seconds. Repeat this action a couple of times until you are satisfied, and make sure to not pick at the spot as it is under the surface. I don’t know much about the science behind this technique, but I do know that it works because of the blood flow from the warm/hot water, which improves the circulation of oxygen to the under the surface spot. In my experience, most of the time, the spot is gone the next day, however if it is particularly stubborn it might take a few tries. I hope this beauty trick will work for you as much as it does to me!

Beauty Tip of the Day: Aloe Vera

There are many skincare benefits with using the pure, natural gel from an Aloe Vera plant leaf. I’ve seen a difference within my skin first hand when applied topically to my skin. Luckily for me, I have an Aloe Vera plant within my backyard, allowing me to get the most natural and pure form of Aloe Vera.

There are many different benefits and uses for Aloe Vera. Personally, what I have used Aloe Vera for is to treat sunburn, pimples, as well as using it as a facial moisturizer. Aloe Vera is incredibly soothing and nourishing to the skin, high in vitamins and minerals, such as vitamins C & E.

It’s no secret that Aloe Vera has been used to treat sunburn, and still to this day is the best natural remedy. Because the Aloe Vera gel contains many essential vitamins and minerals, it allows for the skin to heal faster, making it great to heal your sunburn.

Another beauty secret, is to use the Aloe Vera gel as either an all over facial moisturizer (especially if you have oily skin), or as a pimple treatment. Simply, open up the leaf and split it, rubbing the gel all over the face. I personally like putting the gel all over, because it is very soothing, moisturizing and cooling to the skin. Although it is moisturizing, if you have dry skin, your face can feel a little tight, however your skin still maintains that gorgeous glow! It helps to dry up any open wounds, pimples, as well as flakes, in a relatively fast amount of time. It also reduces the swelling of the pimple fast!

I can’t say enough good things about this miracle plant! I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to quickly dry up any pimples, evening out your complexion, and giving your skin a healthy glow. However if you are to do this please use the most natural form of Aloe Vera, coming from the actual leaf.
