LAVANILA Vanilla Grapefruit Fragrance Rollerball Review

Hello Beauties,

Today I will be reviewing the LAVANILA Healthy Fragrance in Vanilla Grapefruit. I first received a sample of this a while ago and have been meaning to purchase it ever since. I got mine from Sephora, but you can also get it on pretty much any eco green beauty site. I have used and still continue to use the Healthy Deodorant from this brand in Vanilla Coconut, which I really enjoy. What I love about LAVANILA is how their products are free from all the nasty chemicals, such as synthetic fragrances, petrochemicals, and replace these with luxurious natural and organic ingredients that are safe and high performance. What I look for in an all natural/organic brand is safety and performance of their products and this brand truly delivers.

About LAVANILA:

“LAVANILA delivers a new generation of healthy, luxurious fragrance and body care products. Rich in natural and organic ingredients, all products are free from harsh chemicals and clinically proven to be effective, safe, and nourishing.

LAVANILA is free of: petrochemicals, phthalates, propylene glycol, mineral oils, silicone, synthetic dyes, synthetic fragrance, sulfates, parabens, aluminum, and chemical sunscreens.”

Description of Vanilla Grapefruit Fragrance:

“An uplifting citrus, this addictive blend of juicy pink grapefruit, fresh lime, crisp cedarwood, and warm Madagascar vanilla is fresh and inviting. Kissed by sunshine, this unique scent lifts the spirits.

Each fragrance starts with a warm base of Madagascar vanilla and layers on a unique blend of pure essential oils for an exquisite expression of nature that captures a mood, a memory, or a moment in time. Hailed as the world’s first healthy fragrance, natural technology infuses organic sugar cane alcohol with skin-saving botanicals and antioxidants for a modern twist on the classic art of perfumery.”

My Thoughts:

The first time I used this, I absolutely fell in love with the warm vanilla, citrusy scent. You can definitely smell the vanilla more than the other notes, and it’s quite a unique vanilla smell (maybe because it’s from Madagascar). It’s a very sexy, sensual, and warm scent that lingers on your skin for a very long time. It also gets better the longer you wear it. I find myself addicted to smelling the scent throughout the day. I am someone who is very sensitive to scents as I am headache prone, however this is very nice and subtle and never gives me a headache, which I love. As the world’s first healthy fragrance, I think they have done a tremendous job. I love the packaging as it’s very luxurious and convenient to throw in your handbag. The ingredients are so spectacular and healthy for the skin, but also the high performance of the perfume is amazing. I love how you can read and identify each ingredients as there aren’t any hidden nasty chemicals. I have smelled the other scents, but this one by far is the most gorgeous and seductive scent. I would definitely recommend you give this product a try! It’s also cruelty free, vegan and free of parabens and aluminum.

Size: 0.33 oz Eau de Parfum Rollerball. You do get the standard size of rollerball perfume. This is also a great way to try out the fragrance and to see how it wears on your skin. It’s also great for someone who can’t use up perfumes and tends to get over scents really quick. This also comes in a 50ml bottle.

Price: USD $19. For the size and quality of ingredients, I think the price is very reasonable.
